What a wall-hung toilet needs
- A concealed frame cistern: a steel frame fixed inside the wall that carries the toilet’s weight, such as Grohe 3877200D or the Sanit concealed cistern from Siphones.
- Space in the wall: a block or gypsum-board wall is built in front of the frame to hide it, so plan it before tiling.
- A shattaf: from Shattaf or a shattaf mixer.
Round or square?
Round designs are softer and suit classic bathrooms; square designs with sharp lines suit modern ones. Black suits bathrooms with black mixers.
