How to choose a water pump

- Transfer pump: moves water from the ground tank to the roof tank, switched by an electric tank float.
- Booster pump (such as Scala): raises water pressure in bathrooms and kitchen and starts automatically when a tap opens.
- Circulation pump: keeps hot water ready in the pipes with a central water heater.

What’s the difference between a transfer pump and a booster pump?
A transfer pump fills the roof tank. A booster pump strengthens water flow to the taps and shower.
